- 1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon - 1 (teaspoon)
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 (teaspoon)
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup - 1 (tablespoon)
- 0.25 Teaspoon fine salt - 1/4 (teaspoon)
Instructions
Slice bananas and measure ingredients
1. *Slice the bananas* on a cutting board and *measure all ingredients* before placing the saucepan on the stove.
Start the oatmeal
2. In the saucepan, combine *rolled oats, milk, water, cinnamon, and salt*; bring to a *gentle simmer* over medium heat.
Cook until creamy
3. Cook for *5 to 7 minutes*, stirring often, until the oats are *soft and creamy*.
