  • 0.5 Cup shredded carrots - 1/2 (cup), shredded
  • 1 Tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce - 1 (tablespoon)
  • 2 Teaspoon canola oil - 2 (teaspoons)
  • 2 Tablespoon water - 2 (tablespoons)
  • 0.25 Teaspoon garlic powder - 1/4 (teaspoon)
  • 0.25 Teaspoon onion powder - 1/4 (teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Combine rice, beans, and vegetables

    1. *Rinse and drain the black beans*, then add them to a microwave-safe bowl with *the rice, peas, and shredded carrots*.

  2. Season the mixture

    2. Add *low-sodium soy sauce, canola oil, water, garlic powder, and onion powder* to the bowl, then *stir gently* until the rice and vegetables are evenly coated.
