Ingredients
- 4 Each ripe kiwis - 4 (count), Peel all kiwis; slice 1 kiwi for topping and chop the remaining kiwis for blending.
- 1 Each English cucumber - 1 (count), Slice 1/4 cucumber for topping and chop the remaining cucumber for blending.
- 1.5 Cup frozen sliced banana - 1 1/2 (cups), Use frozen sliced banana while still firm to keep the smoothie bowl thick.
- 0.75 Cup plain Greek yogurt - 3/4 (cup)
- 2 Each limes - 2 (count), Zest 1 lime, then juice both limes.
- 1 Tablespoon honey - 1 (tablespoon)
- 0.13 Teaspoon fine salt - 1/8 (teaspoon)
- 0.5 Cup granola - 1/2 (cup), Used as a crunchy topping.
Instructions
Prepare fruit, cucumber, and lime
1. *Peel the kiwis*, then slice 1 kiwi and 1/4 cucumber for topping; *chop the remaining kiwi and cucumber* for blending. Zest 1 lime, then *juice both limes*.
Load the blender
2. Add the chopped kiwi, chopped cucumber, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, lime zest, lime juice, honey, and salt to the blender. *Keep the frozen banana firm* and *add no extra liquid* to maintain a thick bowl texture.
Blend until thick
3. Blend on high, stopping to *scrape down the sides* as needed, until the mixture is *smooth, thick, and spoonable*, about 45 to 90 seconds.
Top and serve
4. Divide the smoothie base between bowls. Top with *granola*, *sliced kiwi*, and sliced cucumber, then serve immediately.
