  • 1 Each tomato - 1 (medium tomato), Medium tomato, sliced for sandwich layering.
  • 2 Tablespoon mayonnaise - 2 (tablespoons)
  • 1 Teaspoon lemon juice - 1 (teaspoon)
  • 0.13 Teaspoon fine salt - 1/8 (teaspoon)
  • 0.13 Teaspoon ground black pepper - 1/8 (teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vegetables and avocado

    1. *Wash and dry* the romaine lettuce, *slice* the tomato, and *halve, pit, and scoop* the avocado into a small bowl.

  2. Mash the avocado

    2. Add the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the avocado, then *mash with a fork* until *creamy but slightly chunky*.

  3. Spread the bread

    3. *Spread mayonnaise* evenly over one side of each bread slice, then *spread the mashed avocado* over 2 of the slices.
