Instructions
Prepare the ingredients
1. Prepare the ingredients: *grate the ginger*, *mince the garlic*, *slice the green onions*, and keep the cooked lentils *drained and ready*.
Whisk the sauce
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the *certified gluten-free tamari*, rice vinegar, maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of the sesame oil until the sauce is *smooth and glossy*.
Start the broccoli
3. Heat the canola oil in a large skillet over *medium-high heat*; add the broccoli florets and water, then cover and cook for *3 minutes* until *bright green*.
Add aromatics
4. Uncover the skillet, add the *fresh ginger* and *garlic*, and stir-fry for *1 minute* until fragrant and the broccoli is *crisp-tender*.
Heat the lentils
