Cook this recipe
- frozen strawberries-2 cups
- frozen sweet cherries-1 cup
- banana-1 large
- plain Greek yogurt-0.75 cups
- granola-0.5 cups
- sliced almonds-2 tbsp
Peel the banana and break it into chunks so it blends evenly with the frozen fruit.
Add the plain Greek yogurt, banana, frozen strawberries, and frozen sweet cherries to the blender.
Blend on low, then increase speed, using a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides as needed until the mixture is thick and spoonable, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Keep hands and utensils away from the blender blades.
Turn the blender off before scraping down the sides.
Divide the smoothie mixture into 2 bowls, then smooth the tops with a spoon.
Finish each bowl with granola and sliced almonds just before serving so the toppings stay crisp.
