Cook this recipe
- frozen strawberries-2 cups
- seedless watermelon-1 cup
- frozen banana-1 large
- vegan granola-0.5 cups
- unsweetened coconut yogurt-0.33 cups
- chia seeds-1 tbsp
Cube the seedless watermelon and slice the frozen banana if needed so the fruit blends evenly.
If slicing frozen banana, keep fingers clear of the blade and cut on a stable surface.
Add the frozen strawberries, watermelon, frozen banana, and coconut yogurt to the blender.
Blend on low, then increase to high, using a tamper as needed until the mixture is thick and spoonable with no large fruit chunks, about 60 to 90 seconds.
Use the tamper only through the blender lid opening and keep hands and tools away from the blades.
Scrape down the sides and blend briefly only until smooth, keeping the base moundable, not pourable.
Turn the blender off before using a spatula near the blades.
Divide the smoothie base between bowls, then top with vegan granola and chia seeds.
Serve immediately while the bowl is cold, thick, and crunchy.
