- rolled oats-2 cups
- frozen blueberries-1 cup
- creamy peanut butter-0.25 cups
- brown sugar-2 tbsp
- ground cinnamon-1 tsp
- vanilla extract-1 tsp
- fine salt-0.13 tsp
In a large microwave-safe bowl, mash the banana with a fork until mostly smooth, then stir in the soy milk, peanut butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
Add the rolled oats and frozen blueberries, stirring until the oats are fully covered with liquid.
Microwave uncovered on high for 3 minutes, then stir carefully from the edges toward the center.
The bowl and oats will be hot; an adult should remove the bowl from the microwave before stirring.
Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes more until the oats are creamy and bubbling, watching closely to prevent overflow.
Use a large microwave-safe bowl with high sides and watch closely to help prevent boil-over.
Let stand for 1 minute, then stir again and serve warm.
Stir well and check the temperature before serving to children, especially around hot blueberries and peanut butter.
